THE BOOK

The Book That Turns What
You Feel Into What You Do

“I should have said something…”

Are We Done Yet? is the book I built from 40 years of learning how to close the gap between what I believed and how I lived. It hands you the framework, language, and daily practice to start becoming the change the world needs.

Equip Yourself With Tools For Action:

  • A complete framework with a 6 step daily practice you can apply to any charged moment

  • Reflection exercises at the end of every chapter that take the work out of theory and anchor it in your specific life, relationships, and recurring patterns

  • Practical tools and language for the conversations you have been avoiding and the boundaries you have been struggling to hold

  • Honest personal stories from years of closing this gap myself, including the moments I
    got it wrong

  • A complete arc that takes you from recognizing the problem to becoming someone whose presence changes the rooms they walk into

THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Matt Brewer

I’m a content creator, health communicator, light worker and I’ve spent years amplifying voices the world tries to keep quiet, survivors, queer families, and communities pushed to the margins. I grew up a closeted gay kid in small-town Texas, where I learned early that being fully myself would cost me something. I spent decades editing myself for rooms that were never built for me, then spent even longer learning how to stop.

Millions of people have connected with my work on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook because I say the things most people step around. This book is what I built once I stopped looking away, from the injustice in the world and from myself.

I believe empathy is a discipline. I believe survivors. I believe we’re not done yet.

"The world does not need more people who understand empathy. It needs more people who are the evidence of it, whose presence, in ordinary moments, demonstrates that a different way of moving through the world is not only possible, but practiced."
